Beyond Pens- Laser Madness!

After a two year wait, a coveted Glowforge CO2 laser was added to Pen Studio earlier this year! Capable of precision cutting, scoring, etching, and engraving a variety of materials such as woods, acrylics, leather, tile, paper, cloth, etc it is an exciting new tool to have in the workshop. Personalization and branding are two obvious advantages of having a co2 laser, but I'm discovering new possibilities every day. Look for new offerings on this page in the near future.

Just in time for Holiday shopping I have created eight unique Evil Genius Laser Puzzles to confound your family, friends and enemies. Several designs are based on mathematical fractals, "a mathematical set that exhibits a repeating pattern that displays at every scale", others are based on complex geometric shapes. All are meant to challenge and exercise your brain. Unplug the TV and social media distractions and have some good old fashioned fun!

Evil Genius Laser Puzzles

Puzzles are offered in a choice of two materials- draftboard or basswood plywood. Draftboard is an 1/8-inch thick engineered wood material with an unfinished brown surface that cuts and engraves cleanly. The basswood plywood is an 1/8-inch thick creamy white natural hardwood veneer with an engineered wood core for stability. The basswood has a sanded, furniture grade semi-gloss finish.
