Fishing fanatics, this one is for you! You’ll be tempted to wear your waders when using this pewter twist ballpoint. The clever clip is a fly-fishing rod that casts a line which wraps around the cap collar to the hooked bass on the end. The top of the cap sports a detailed reel and the lower nib collar depicts a diorama with a fisherman casting from the river with a backdrop of mountains.
Nothing less than authentic fish skin leather would do for this theme pen. The barrel is made from Oreochromeis Niloticus leather. Genuine tanned Tilapia skin! The skin has been carefully folded for a finished seam and backed before being attached to the barrel. The ends were tapered and trimmed and the entire skin received several protective layers of Renaissance wax before being pressed onto the hardware. This pen uses Parker style ballpoint or gel refills.
