This Culinary Classic is a Pen Studio original made from real herbs and spices. Shaped Whole Allspice, Anise Star, Chamomile flowers, Green Cardamom pods, Coriander seeds and lavender flowers were set on a silver "non-stick" background and cast in clear acrylic. (See close-up)
The acrylic was hand turned a with sharp carbide blade and dry sanded from 220-1200 grit. The barrel was then wet sanded to 12,000 grit and further polished with buffing compound on a Jeweler’s wheel to a glass-like finish.
