This Culinary Classic is a Pen Studio original made from real herbs and spices. Shaped Whole Allspice, Anise Star, Chamomile flowers, Green Cardamom pods, Coriander seeds and lavender flowers were set on a copper background and cast in clear acrylic. The acrylic was hand turned a with sharp carbide blade and dry sanded from 220-1200 grit. The barrel was then wet sanded to 12,000 grit and further polished with buffing compound on a jeweler’s wheel to a glass-like finish.
The sophisticated look of the art deco inspired hardware makes a stunning frame for this unique theme ballpoint The quality brass and pewter plating has been chemically darkened to simulate aged brass and pewter, which results in a gorgeous, long lasting plating and the amber Swarovski crystal clip adds a nice compliment to the copper canvas. The ballpoint transmission operation is simple and smooth; simply twist the top to extend or retract the refill. This pen uses Parker ballpoint or gel refills.
