This hand turned sportsman’s pen features a 24 kt gold finish, 12 ga. shotgun cap, .30 cal bullet pen body, a shotgun clip, rose gold nib and a ceramic rollerball. The sueded scroll detailed cap compliments the intricate pattern and detail of the genuine Ringneck Pheasant feather lower barrel. This feather blank is the result of a three day process where the feathers are artistically arranged one by one and then hand cast in clear polyresin to preserve their natural beauty. The resin is carefully hand turned and wet sanded to a glass-like finish.
This pen is a showcase for the ultimate Pheasant Hunter and while the lower portion of the pen is protected by the acrylic casting the cap is not. Careful handling is advised as the fabric can be stained or damaged by rough handling. A Lacewood display stand is included. This pen uses Schmidt 5888 rollerball refills.
